In Brief
A public house and hotel built from 1909 to 1911 to the designs of James & Lister Lea, it has the date 1910 on the building. Built in the restrained Jacobean style in brick and grey terracotta. The Witton Lane side of the building is close to the North Stand of Villa Park, home of Aston Villa FC. The pub seems to have closed down by 2018, and is now used as supported accommodation by Expectations.
