The Old Fire Station at 11 Alexander Road, Acocks Green, Birmingham, B27 6ER

In brief

A small fire station built in Acocks Green in 1921, on what was the garden of Acocks Green Police Station. Built of red brick and buff terracotta. The police station closed in 1993, when a new fire station on Speedwell Road opened (now Hay Mills Community Fire Station). The Old Fire Station later became offices.
