In brief

A Victorian house dating to circa 1700 and 1878. Now within a public park. The Haden family had occupied the land for centuries, since at least the 17th century. George Alfred Haden Haden-Best lived here from 1877 to 1921. The estate went into public ownership from 1922. To the south of Haden Hall Park is  Corngreaves nature reserve, which was the site of a golf course.
