Dead Wax Digbeth - history and details

There has been a public house on this site on Adderley Street since the middle of the 19th Century.

It used to be spelled "Waggon & Horses".

A change in ownership in the 1980s led to the pub being renamed to The Cannonball.

But by the early 2000s, another ownership change and it became The Wagon & Horses again.

The pub was still The Wagon & Horses until sometime in 2019.

But another ownership change led to it becoming Dead Wax Digbeth.

The pub is now a live music venue, and at opening they used to serve pizza.

But they haven't served food in a few years now.

The pub has street art on the side of the building, and it is painted black.
