The Old Moseley Arms - history

A traditional pub located on Tindal Street in Balsall Heath.

It was rebuilt in 1927-8 by the architect W. Norman Twist.

The left bar had interwar panelling, the original sloping bar counter, and an Art Deco part-mirrored bar back fitting.

The pub was refurbished in 1988.

The bar back in this room dates from that time.

The pub was part of the Ansells Brewery.

It is a short walk from the no 50 bus route on the Moseley Road, and the 35 on Lincoln Street.

Edgbaston Cricket Ground is about a 10 minute walk away.

They now have a Tandoori Clay Oven menu.
