The Billesley - history and details

The Billesley Arms had been on the corner of Brook Lane and Wheelers Lane between Billesley and Kings Heath since at least the late Victorian era.

The current pub was built in the 1930s in the mock-Tudor style, with lower brick half and timber and painted on the upper half.

It has had a few name changes over the years.

It was known as The New Billesley until 2013, when Hungry Horse took it over, refurbished it, and reopened the pub as The Billesley.

The pub sign of The Billesley that Hungry Horse put up is of an old painting of the Kings Heath High Street, with a tram, vintage cars, and horse and carriages, plus a bicycle.
