The Fountain Inn - details

The pub is located not too far from Bristol Street.

If you walk up Wrentham Street you will see The Fountain Inn at the corner with Kent Street.

It became a gay bar / pub around 1991.

The Fountain Inn probably dates back to the late 19th or early 20th century.

The building has been externally painted sky blue and has a traditional pub lantern at the corner entrance.

The wasteland behind The Fountain Inn was built by Seven Capital from 2016 to 2018, and is now flats / apartments at Madison House.

The pub itself was repainted externally in 2020.
