RAF Museum Cosford, also called Royal Air Force Museum Midlands is on Lysander Avenue, Cosford, Shifnal, TF11 8UP

In brief

The free museum dedicated to the history of aviation and the Royal Air Force opened at RAF Cosford in May 1979. There is another side in London that previously opened in 1972 at Colindale (Hendon). They have RAF planes from various generations, also a British Airways collection in four hangers. In February 2007 the National Cold War Exhibition opened in a separate exhibition building.
